May 17 & 18, 2014 Marché de la Mode Vintage #14

 

 

 

The 14th edition of the Marché de la Mode Vintage is opening its doors this 17 & 18 May, 2014 at the Halle Tony Garnier in Lyon, from 10am to 7pm.

 

8,700 square meters of sales, entertainment, and exhibitions focusing on the theme “Marine and Sailor Vintage”

400 booths organized around 5 themes:

 

FASHION (ready-to-wear, stylish second-hand, accessories)

LUXURY (couture, jewelry, leather goods)

DESIGNERS (vintage inspired collections)

DECO (objects, furniture, lights)

VINYLS (disc, audio, games)

 

For the first time, we are hosting the International Vinyl Disc Salon which will bring together around 50 exhibitors on more than 500 square meters dedicated to discs, books, retro-games and vintage audio material.

 

Come and discover our numerous activities: an introduction to the Solex (motorized bicycle) around the outside of the Halle; a children’s coloring and creativity workshop organized by the Musée des Tissus et des Arts Decoratifs (Museum of Fabrics and Decorative Arts) or the Grains de Sel Association (online urban culture magazine); a beauty area (Barber-shop, hairdresser, makeup, nail art, temporary tattoos…); music and dance entertainment; 4 types of food stands (snacks, vintage catering, ice-cream maker, popcorn…); our new section of vintage vinyl’s (discs, games, audio, and a wide-selection of books from our partner Decitre…); the hunt for the best vintage style with our partner Editions Jalou (perfect your marine and vintage look and enter for a chance to win a fashion weekend in Paris!); an exhibition of marine objects and accessories; a photo call around the Tabur boat with photos taken by the Pola Café; several raffles with our partners Yelp, Printemps in Lyon, le Village des Createurs du Passage (support for young designers) … and of course our new collectors bag offered to the first 10,000 visitors of the Marche de la Mode Vintage which displays the colors of marine vintage.
